First Baptist Church of Jemison, Alabama is seeking a full-time pastor who has a heart to follow Jesus Christ, a passion to preach God’s word, to reach out to our community through witnessing programs, and to show love to God’s people. Our church believes in the Southern Baptist doctrine and follows the Baptist Faith and Message adopted by the Southern Baptist Convention in 2000.
As a church, we seek a shepherd who will lead by example, following the Great Commission, Matthew 28: 18-20, discipling, reaching all generations and be an example through all the Biblical teachings of Jesus Christ.
Primary duties include worship, pastoral care, outreach, and administration.
