There were four main themes during the North American Mission Board’s Send Luncheon on Monday, June 10, in Indianapolis as Southern Baptists blessed a family and provided support for adopting and fostering families.
“To see some of them just break down with the Holy Spirit, at the power of the gospel that Shane (Pruitt) was able to present, was incredible,” said Jared Barham, associate pastor of youth at Northside Baptist Church in Indianapolis
“We are hoping that Crossover is a spark that will light that fuel of revival and evangelism here in our community, help us build up some of our churches,” said Roger Kinion, pastor of Calvary Baptist Church in Greenfield, Indiana.
Marcus Redding, a longtime pastor and ministry leader in North Carolina, died May 30 after a brief battle with pancreatic cancer. During the past seven years, Redding has served as the NAMB’s director of supporting churches. He was 58.
