The U.S. Commission on International Religious Freedom added Azerbaijan to its list of 17 “worst of the worst” violators of freedom of religion or belief in 2023.
The upcoming recommendations “are crafted with the desire to satisfy the intent of the motion to move forward together in ‘biblical fidelity’ by safeguarding our adopted statement of faith and ‘missional clarity,'” says chair Jared Wellman.
National and state Southern Baptist leaders are calling for believers to pray, individually or corporately, on that day.
