Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump took to the presidential debate stage Tuesday night (Sept. 10) for a much-anticipated matchup that spotlighted a variety of issues facing the country.
Throughout the 90-minute debate, the two candidates sparred over issues that included abortion, the border, inflation and much more. Both candidates — and even the moderators from ABC News — drew both criticism and praise for their debate performances during and after the dust settled from a contentious evening of discussion.

Sanctity of life
Among the many issues evangelicals are watching closely leading up to the Nov. 5 presidential election involves the sanctity of life. Harris vowed to restore access to abortion as it was before the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade in 2022, and Trump stood by his desire to leave it to each state to handle.
Will there be another debate?
While it remains unclear at the moment whether there will be another debate between Harris and Trump, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz and Ohio Sen. J.D. Vance are expected to face off Oct. 1 for a vice presidential debate.
