Brandon Porter, communications director for the Kentucky Baptist Convention and editor of Kentucky Today, has been chosen to lead Baptist Press, the news service of the Southern Baptist Convention.
Porter will serve as associate vice president for convention news for the SBC Executive Committee and will direct the daily operations of Baptist Press and serve on the leadership team for the Executive Committee.
Porter has served with the KBC for the past two years. Prior to that, he was media director for the Commonwealth Policy Foundation. He has been a pastor at churches in Kentucky and Alabama.
