The board has announced a possible funding source that could help keep Limestone open for both in-person and online education. Chair Randall Richardson called the development “cautiously optimistic,” emphasizing it’s only a possibility for now. The board is expected to reconvene by April 29.
President Nathan Copeland praised the faith and unity of the community, urging continued prayers and patience. Limestone serves 1,600 students and contributes $150 million annually to the local economy.
