Actor and martial arts champion Chuck Norris, known for his strong Christian faith and roles in “Walker, Texas Ranger,” has died at 86, his family shared in a statement.
Overcoming a reportedly difficult childhood, Norris became a six-time karate world champion and later a Hollywood star. Beyond his action-star image, Norris openly professed faith in Jesus Christ, and he urged others to “make your peace with Christ,” Charisma Magazine reported.
‘Real men do live for Christ’
“Real men do live for Christ. It is important to make your peace with Christ while the opportunity exists,” Norris told the magazine. “Life is so fragile that you never know when it’s going to be over. It could be over in the blink of an eye, and then it’s too late to accept God’s gift of salvation.”
