Lifeway Christian Resources’ Vacation Bible School soundtrack recently ranked at the top of a children’s music chart and 63rd on the overall Apple Music Top 100 chart for all genres.
Lifeway’s “Spark Studios” released Dec. 3, 2021. The VBS theme song with the same name has remained in the top 20 in recent weeks.
The album features six songs, including the theme song that features Ephesians 2:10, “For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared ahead of time for us to do” (CSB).
“With the pandemic negatively impacting many churches’ ability to do VBS the past two years, I think this is evidence that VBS is returning in full force across the country,” said Melita Thomas, Lifeway’s VBS and kids ministry specialist, in a Baptist Press story.
The week the album reached the top spot was in June during the Southern Baptist Convention Annual Meeting in Anaheim, California.
