The U.S. President’s Lifetime Achievement award was presented to long-time Southern Baptist Don Biadog Jr., a retired Navy chaplain, at the historic Officer’s Club at Marine Corps Air Station Miramar.
“You don’t hear much about these people, people with leprosy, because they are more hidden, and they are more neglected and forgotten,” said Sonya Herron, IMB missionary in Uganda.
“Evangelism is a conversation between two people who are nervous,” acknowledged pastor and former seminary professor Matt Queen to a room of quiet laughter. Queen recently spent an hour helping a roomful of Baptists explore the topic.
