Woman’s Missionary Union (WMU, SBC) has named four young women to the 2026 National Acteens Panel. They include Alexis Andrade of Freeman of Heights Baptist
Approximately 210 missions leaders from across the country gathered recently in Birmingham, Alabama, where they participated in general sessions, 22 conference options designed to equip and inspire, interactive opportunities and more.
“Faithfulness in this season calls me to be present with my family in a way that cannot be sustained by the obligations of my current ministry role. Our mission remains unchanged because it is rooted in God’s calling, not in one individual. God’s plan for this organization is bigger than any single person’s role. I have every confidence the Lord will guide and undergird WMU. His faithfulness does not change.” —Sandy Wisdom-Martin
“We want this to be more than event,” said Sandy Wisdom-Martin, executive director of national WMU. “We pray those gathered to depart inspired and challenged to intentionally make disciples of Jesus who live on mission.”
