Busy moms need prayer, but they also need to pray. A new book, released April 2, and called “Honest Prayers for Mama Bears” will help moms and others do that.

For a mission field as ripe as a college campus, it makes sense to send a missionary. That’s exactly why former missionary and current Missouri Baptist church-planter Colby Corsaut aims to reach college students in Columbia.

Missouri Attorney General Andrew Bailey has a history of fighting for life and freedom, and he encouraged students at Hannibal-LaGrange University to do the same during HLGU’s recent Free Society Speaker Series.
“Our refugees come here, and the new moms need everything, especially if it is their first baby,” said Leslie Broome, Oasis education assistant and baby shower coordinator. “We love to partner with churches to have these baby showers.”
While some Christians believe Noah’s flood was a local deluge, Stenberg believes the clearest way to understand the Genesis account and the scientific evidence is to see it as a global flood.
