The Baptist Convention of New York announced June 4 plans for executive director-treasurer Terry Robertson to retire next year.
Robertson is retiring from 20 years of service as the fifth executive director of the 55-year-old multi-state convention, BCNY noted.
Previously, Robertson has said, “God will [let] us know the right time to retire. That time has now come!”
Robertson has led in recent years “amid monumental change as new strategies for future ministry have been developed,” BCNY said.
He will officially conclude his service to BCNY on April 1, 2025.
