Calling Out the Called scholarship program taking off

Calling Out the Called scholarship program taking off

The application window to apply for Calling Out the Called scholarships has been open less than a month, but already 103 applications have been submitted.

“The Kentucky Baptist Convention desires to come alongside current and future Kentucky Baptist ministers to help them pursue theological education,” said Michael Cabell, assistant to the executive director for convention relations. The scholarship program, which was enhanced by Todd Gray, KBC executive director, three years ago, provides scholarship help for ministry students attending Boyce College, Southern Baptist Theological Seminary and Clear Creek Baptist Bible College.

“We exist to serve Kentucky Baptist churches and one way we do that is by investing in the theological education of the current and future ministers of Kentucky Baptist churches,” Cabell noted.
