Jesse Parker, the pastor of Celebration Church, said that at least 110 people visited the , Oct. 25 car show. People who wanted prayer could go to the prayer tent.
Each year, the church seeks to share the gospel through the event and to connect with the community. The information table handed out material which had information about the church as well as a presentation of the gospel. Volunteers at the prayer tent were also available if anyone wanted to have a conversation about the gospel. Some of the other volunteers who moved around the car show were also prepared to share their faith.
Connecting with community
Since 2022, the church has seen the car show grow. In 2025, the church hosted the largest number of cars at 27 cars. Parker noted that he hopes the car show will grow to 40 cars, increasing the church’s connections with the community.
The church plans to hold another car show in 2026. The church also holds other events throughout the year to reach out to the surrounding community.
