With the recently released redemption movie, “Jesse’s Gift,” there were a lot of firsts. For writer and director Ken Merritt, it is his first full-length film.
The International Mission Board, North American Mission Board, Send Relief and Woman’s Missionary Union are uniting to better serve churches focusing on the missionary task in every community on North American soil.
More than 40 students from First Baptist Church Zachary, Louisiana, have embraced God’s call to be missionaries in their schools, and subsequently have begun to see a spiritual harvest from their collective outreach efforts.

“Part of the reason may be that the U.S. is culturally Christian,” Barna wrote, citing past surveys. “In fact, 72 percent of people in the U.S. say they were raised Christian.”
