When they first arrive on the mission field, Journeymen study the language full-time for several months, but they don’t wait around for ministry opportunities.
Nathan Harden felt called by the Lord to move out west and start a ministry of construction — construction and repairs on churches and pastors’ homes. He is still working in that field today, and he will until he feels called to change.
On June 23, Southern Baptists will again have the opportunity to honor unsung heroes of the faith — namely, retirement-aged Southern Baptist pastors, workers and their widows who served and abundantly blessed others during their ministry.
