The board of Truett McConnell University decided Sept. 25 to “part ways” with president Emir Caner after hearing the results of an independent investigation.
Senior pastor Randy Ellis stated, “George Ross is a man who sets the golden standard for the heart of the pastor. At 90 years old, he still faithfully ministers to those under his care. Ross’s ability to connect with people and impart empathy is unmatched.”
More than 350 people professed faith in Christ at a pair of Gridiron Day events hosted by Carrollton Baptist Association churches, said Tim Williams, the associational missionary strategist.
