Several churches in the Black River Association in Kennett, Missouri, have begun assisting a ministry to children in the western African nation of Liberia.

Missouri Attorney General Andrew Bailey has a history of fighting for life and freedom, and he encouraged students at Hannibal-LaGrange University to do the same during HLGU’s recent Free Society Speaker Series.
“Our refugees come here, and the new moms need everything, especially if it is their first baby,” said Leslie Broome, Oasis education assistant and baby shower coordinator. “We love to partner with churches to have these baby showers.”
