This year’s Southeastern Classic golf tournament raised more than $120,000 for student scholarships for Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary students.
For a call to be effective, there must be an answer. That was the emphasis of the Baptist General Convention of Oklahoma’s The Call Conference, with the theme, “Answer: Calling Out the Called.”
Participants are given resources and equipped with knowledge and skills to enable them to influence and lead their peers to be intentional in living a holistic missions lifestyle.
“The key to the success … was the people of God have been praying for months for this crusade,” said Rick Gage, the Georgia-based evangelist who leads Go Tell Ministries.

Midwestern Seminary hosted the ninth annual For the Church National Conference in Kansas City on Sept. 11–12, welcoming more than 1,100 pastors and ministry leaders to campus.
The annual Sing! Global conference, held Sept. 4-6, drew some 8,500 Christian worship music leaders and other church musicians, pastors, vendors and hymn composers from as many as 35 countries.
