The seventh annual Elevate music and worship arts camp was recently held on the Baptist College of Florida’s campus in Graceville.
The event drew students in the sixth through 12th grades from all around the state — 79 campers to be exact, doubling the attendance number of past years.
Refining their skills
Students attended classes and breakout sessions to refine their skills, including singing, playing instruments, art and other creative expressions and disciplines like sign language and worship technology.
During the weeklong event, held July 11–15, campers participated in a variety of worship experiences that included daily Bible study time with their group leaders and worship services held in the BCF Wellness Center. The last day of camp featured a special worship service for parents and friends that included the awarding of six BCF Presidential Scholarships to the juniors and seniors that attended.
