Gregg Potts

Gregory E. “Gregg” Potts lives in Cartersville, Georgia, where he and his wife, Holli, are members of First Baptist Church, Cartersville.

Gregg is a native of Kentwood, Louisiana, and a graduate of Mississippi College, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in religious education; New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary, where he earned a master’s degree in pastoral ministry; and Reformed Theological Seminary (Jackson, Mississippi), where he earned a doctor of ministry.

He served in pastoral ministry for nearly 30 years in Mississippi and Georgia. His pastorates include First Baptist Church, Emerson, Georgia; First Baptist Church, Dallas, Georgia; First Baptist Church, Vancleave, Mississippi; Heuck’s Retreat Baptist Church, Brookhaven, Mississippi; Providence Baptist Church, Meadville, Mississippi; and Bluff Springs Baptist Church, Magnolia, Mississippi.

He has written for The (Mississippi) Baptist Record and The (Georgia) Christian Index, as well as many local newspapers. He is currently an associate at Angela Krause Ford in Marietta, Georgia.
