On July 31, Trennis and Pam Henderson “unplugged” from the national Woman’s Missionary Union office in Birmingham and drove across town to the office of TAB Media.
The move wrapped up three years of weaving around the U.S. in their RV, collecting and sharing stories of what God is doing through national WMU.
Now the Hendersons and their RV are plugged in at TAB Media as the new regional correspondents, focusing primarily on developing partnerships and reader engagement for The Baptist Paper as well as hunting down story ideas.
After a few days of meeting with staff in the office, they headed off for their first assignments in Arkansas. First stop: Navigate 2021, a digital equipping conference at First Baptist Church, Benton. From there, they’ve met with the Arkansas Baptist State Convention’s communications leaders, a local Baptist church and a Baptist university.
“Pam and I are excited about the opportunity to represent The Baptist Paper on behalf of TAB Media,” Trennis Henderson said. “We look forward to all that God has in store for this exciting new communications ministry as we seek to help tell the story about what He is accomplishing among Baptists across the nation.”
