First Southern Baptist Church Clarksville, Indiana, recently held what was described by the State Convention of Baptists in Indiana as a “very unique ordination service.”
Pastor Russ Lievers ordained three men to the deacon ministry, each from very different backgrounds on April 23.
Paul Olakunle is from Nigeria; Paramthonbuilbou “Param” Nkhapuinamai is from India; and Brett Jackson grew up at FSBC.
Nkhapuinamai, a chaplain at the University of Louisville Hospital, also was ordained to the gospel ministry.
