Is your Bible study group healthy? Lifeway hosting free ministry webinar Oct. 17

How does your church’s groups ministry compare to the average group ministry? Would you like to know if your church’s Bible study groups are healthy?

In an upcoming free webinar titled “Unpacking the State of Groups,” leaders will discover key findings from Lifeway Research’s recent State of Groups study —a comprehensive post-pandemic survey on groups and groups ministry. The webinar will take place Thursday, October 17, 2024, at 1 p.m. CST.

Trends, challenges and opportunities

This hour-long session will be led by Ken Braddy, Lifeway’s director of Sunday School, and members of the Lifeway Research team, including executive director of Lifeway Research, Scott McConnell. The discussion will focus on survey results that highlight trends, challenges and opportunities in group ministries in the modern context. Participants will not only learn about critical insights but will also leave with actionable strategies and best practices to revitalize their church’s group ministry.

“Many churches are asking how their Bible study groups are doing after the disruptions of the past few years,” Braddy said. “Based on feedback from over 1,000 church leaders, this webinar will provide valuable insights about the state of groups, along with practical steps for fostering vibrant and healthy groups.”

In this fast-paced webinar, participants will:

  • Gain exclusive insights on church small groups based on new research.
  • Learn about concerning trends that may be affecting group health and effectiveness.
  • Discover proven best practices to enhance and strengthen group ministries in any church setting.

“This is a must-attend event for pastors, group leaders and any church leader who is looking to revitalize or assess the health of their Bible study groups,” Lifeway noted. Registrants who are unable to attend the webinar live will receive the complete recording following the event.
