Jay has taught at the University of Mobile for 18 years.
He earned a Master of Divinity and Ph.D. from Mid-America Baptist Theological Seminary in Cordova, Tennessee and Ph.D. in systematic theology with minors in church history and preaching.
Jay currently serves as a pastor for preaching and vision at Crawford Baptist Church in Mobile, Alabama.
