Generations Church — a recently established church plant in Cedar Falls, Iowa — recently experienced “a remarkable event” — a “Family Outdoor Baptism Service” that celebrated new birth through faith in Christ. Families and friends gathered outdoors on blankets and lawn chairs for this special occasion.
What made the day unforgettable, noted Baptist Convention of Iowa staff, was the 20 baptisms. These individuals publicly committed their lives to Jesus through baptism, symbolizing their desire to follow Him.
Clear message
“This is just the beginning of their faith journey, and their decision is a huge encouragement to the whole Generations Church community,” the convention said. “The message is clear: God is at work, and hope and love are spreading through this gospel-centered community.”
