Obituaries

  • Caby Edward Byrne, who served campus ministry programs at Mississippi College and State University as well as West Point Military Academy and was a chaplain with the Army Reserve for 35 years, died May 13. He was 91.
  • Robert Curtis Ragland Sr., who preached in Humphreys County for 54 years and retired from Beulah Baptist Church in 2016, died May 12. He was 91.
