Obituaries

  • Ladell Blanton, former pastor of First Baptist Church Tchula, FBC Foxworth, and Springdale and North Union Baptist churches, both in West, died Oct. 3. He was 85.
  • John Wayne Edwards, former associational missions director of Lauderdale Baptist Association and pastor of Midway Baptist Church, died Oct. 3. He was 75.

  • Tom Belcher is the new pastor of Shiloh Baptist Church, Sontag.
