Represented by Alliance Defending Freedom, Moody argued the district violated its constitutional rights by requiring the school to abandon faith-based hiring standards to join the program, the report said. The lawsuit, filed Nov. 4, reportedly ended in a settlement in which CPS amended its internship agreement to include Moody students. College leaders noted the decision guards the school’s ability to hire employees who affirm its biblical doctrinal beliefs.
