Kennedy noted proposed HHS rules would bar hospitals receiving Medicare or Medicaid funds from performing sex-rejecting procedures on minors. Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services Administrator Dr. Mehmet Oz also criticized what he called a “dishonest narrative” driven by politics and profit, urging less invasive care.
