Oklahoma’s Hance Dilbeck named O.S. Hawkins successor at GuideStone

Hance Dilbeck Jr., executive director-treasurer of the Baptist General Convention of Oklahoma since 2018, was unanimously elected as GuideStone Financial Resources’ president-elect during a called meeting of the board of trustees May 20.

Dilbeck will serve alongside current GuideStone President O.S. Hawkins beginning this summer and culminating in the first quarter of 2022 with Hawkins becoming president emeritus and Dilbeck becoming president and CEO.

Dilbeck served as a pastor for more than 30 years prior to his state convention role in Oklahoma.
