This is the second in a series on singleness and all the complexities that it entails. I think it’s so important to talk about the experience of singleness and how it impacts our faith and how it’s lived out within our churches. There’s just so much to the experience of singleness, and when I look at the world around me, I see a lot of people who are single. My prayer is that this series increases our understanding of our brothers and sisters in Christ and challenges any inherent misunderstandings we have about singleness and God.
Today I’ve got Demetrius Hicks with me. Demetrius has served in a variety of ministry roles for the past 20 years, and in that time he’s really dug into what intimacy with the Lord looks like as a single man, and even more broadly as single people, which we all are at different points in our lives.
