This is the third in a series on singleness and all the complexities that it entails. I think it’s so important to talk about the experience of singleness and how it impacts our faith and how it’s lived out within our churches. There’s just so much to the experience of singleness, and when I look at the world around me, I see a lot of people who are single. My prayer is that this series increases our understanding of our brothers and sisters in Christ and challenges any inherent misunderstandings we have about singleness and God.
Today I’ve got Jesse Hoyer with me. Jesse is 61, and she’s never been married, so I especially wanted to get her perspective on singleness and how it’s impacted her faith through the years. Let’s dive in.
