At a time when people are turning more and more to the internet for answers to life’s toughest questions, Moody Publishers announced this week the launch of a new online resource, Bibletolife.com.
This new virtual library addresses “core questions” many people have and includes both original and curated content from the publisher’s books, “to point them right back to the Bible,” Moody Publishers announced in a Jan. 5 news release.
“We want to provide answers to questions, hope in the midst of anxiety and direction toward Jesus in the chaos of our world,” said Randall Payleitner, associate publisher. And finding biblically-sound content on issues of faith is becoming more difficult to find online.
Truth in a time of confusion
Moody Publishers noted in the release, “The problem is that a lot of the answers people find atop their Google search results simply aren’t trustworthy. Even if some of the top search results aren’t clearly wrong, it can be difficult to discern who is behind the websites and whether or not their answers should be trusted.”
The release added, “The Bible to Life content is written by trusted authors, vetted by Moody Publishers in the publishing process.”
Among those who will be providing content for the site will include some of Moody Institute’s professors and well-known pastors, such as Tony Evans, Alistair Begg and John MacArthur. Some of the authors include Priscilla Shirer, Hanna Anderson and Trillia Newbell.
