Ida Mae Hays, a retired International Mission Board missionary to Brazil, died Feb. 1.
While a missionary, Hays supervised the building of more than 30 churches. A chapel at a Baptist camp is named in her honor.
She retired from the IMB in 2002.
Supreme Court to consider case that could overturn same-sex ‘marriage’
The U.S. Supreme Court will meet behind closed doors Friday (Nov. 7) to consider an appeal from former Kentucky clerk Kim Davis. She is urging the justices to overturn Obergefell v. Hodges, the 2015 decision legalizing same-sex “marriage” nationwide.
