Oklahoma pastor Stephen Rummage will serve as president of the 2024 Southern Baptist Convention Pastors Conference. The conference will be held June 9–10 ahead of the Southern Baptist Convention in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Rummage is pastor of Quail Springs Baptist Church in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He was nominated by Tennessee pastor Adam Dooley, who noted Rummage’s faithful leadership of his church and at the national SBC level. Rummage is a past chairman of the SBC Executive Committee and a former president of the Florida Baptist Convention.
With no other nominations, he was elected by acclamation. Current SBCPC president Daniel Dickard told pastors in New Orleans that Rummage will appoint officers to serve alongside him in planning the 2024 conference.
