SBC 2021: Evening recap for June 14

Here’s what happened this afternoon at the Southern Baptist Convention in Nashville:

The new officers of the SBC Pastors Conference were announced. Serving as President for the 2022 Pastors Conference will be New Mexico pastor Matt Henslee. Florida pastor Cam Triggs will serve as vice president, and Tennessee pastor Sam Greer will serve as treasurer. Several related meetings took place during the day, including gatherings of the Fellowship of Native American Christians, the Filipino Southern Baptist Fellowship, the National African-American Fellowship and the SBC Women’s Leadership Network.

In an afternoon Sending Celebration, 64 new missionaries were sent out by the International Mission Board.
