SBC 2024: June 10 Recap

It’s been an exciting day at #SBC24 in Indianapolis. We’ve experienced diverse events from national Woman’s Missionary Union’s pinewood derby track races to inspiring and challenging messages delivered from the pulpit at the SBC 2024 Pastors Conference. Each event has provided moments of fun and fellowship, while pointing participants to the importance of living out the Great Commission. To see more from the day, check out our Facebook page.

The 2024 SBC Pastors Conference, which wrapped tonight, has been a large part of the day. South Carolina pastor D.J. Horton was announced as the 2025 Pastors Conference president after a run-off vote.

Tonight the big event is a presidential candidate forum where the six candidates for SBC president will discuss important topics facing the SBC, as well as their vision for its future. So far, more than 9,600 messengers have registered for tomorrow’s SBC annual meeting.
