SBC Executive Committee chair sets Oct. 5 meeting for final decisions related to investigation

The next meeting of the Southern Baptist Convention Executive Committee board of trustees is set for Tuesday, Oct. 5,  at 10:30 a.m. CT, according to an article posted by Baptist Press today.

A second extension from the Sept. 20–21 meeting, the Oct. 5 meeting’s purpose is to finalize an agreement with Guidepost Solutions and determine whether to waive the EC’s attorney-client privilege as requested by messengers and the Sexual Abuse Task Force, according to Executive Committee chairman Rolland Slade.

The Oct. 5 can be viewed live at sbc.net/ec0921.

To read coverage of the Sept. 28 meeting, which was the first extension of discussion related to the investigation details, read this article by The Baptist Paper.
