As Southern Baptists return to Orlando, Florida, for its annual meeting this week, we recall other SBC milestones connected to Orlando.
At the 2010 SBC Annual Meeting in Orlando, the Great Commission Resurgence recommendations were originally adopted. And before that, Orlando hosted the 2000 SBC Annual Meeting, where the Baptist Faith and Message 2000 was adopted.
In most recent history, the 2020 SBC Annual Meeting was set to take place in Orlando, but was canceled in March 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
