On Valentine’s evening, many Southern Baptists gathered in Phoenix, Arizona, to celebrate the latest group of missionaries heading to the nations with the gospel of Jesus Christ.
“Because of the concentration of lost people groups, we really felt like this is an area where we could contribute and be supportive of our missionaries who are already serving there,” said said David Johnson, AZMN executive director.
For Jennifer Smith, an Illinois Baptist Disaster Relief volunteer from Jacksonville, Illinois, the two weeks she served in Guam in September were hard, hopeful and a regular part of her missions commitment.
