Eleven volunteers from nine different churches served alongside five Baptist Convention of New Mexico staff members to prepare church resource packets for the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering for International Missions.
Tis the season for IMB missionaries to connect with churches. “Our missionaries get to be on the front lines, but they also get to share those amazing stories of what God is doing with our churches,” said IMB’s Victor Hou.
At one training this spring, and IMB missionary made a shocking discovery. While teaching at a training center about 10 hours away from his home, a local partner revealed something surprising about the group of believers in attendance.
On Nov. 10, New Vision Baptist Church in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, hosted a Sending Celebration that featured 49 newly appointed missionaries. The IMB event kicked off the Tennessee Baptist Convention’s annual meeting.

Korean pastors and church leaders greeted each other warmly, some clearly friends and others meeting for the first time. Representing different churches, they joined in
Southern Baptist churches, groups and entities sent thousands of panels made of craft sticks to WMU in recent months. Now, WMU staff and volunteers have turned them into a big houseboat to show how the Cooperative Program works.
“Ask God to use this truck to open gospel access in places that might be closed using traditional methods of evangelism,” notes medical missionary.
