Tom Stolle has been named executive director of the Baptist Convention of Maryland/Delaware. Mark Dooley has also been named associate executive director, the convention announced.
The announcement follows the resignation of Michael Crawford on Feb. 3.
“Tom Stolle is the right person at the right time to lead us as a convention,” said Glenn Swanson, president of the BCM/D. He noted that this is the third time that Stolle has been asked to serve in the role (twice as interim during previous vacancies).
Stolle has served the BCM/D for 18 years in roles to include chief operating officer, human resources director, associate executive director, chief financial officer, and most recently interim executive director.
Stolle and his wife, Shelley, have three sons, JT, Jake and Jimmy.
