The investigation continues as at least 15 people were killed and dozens wounded when a father and son reportedly opened fire on people during a Hanukkah celebration Sunday (Dec. 14) at Sydney’s Bondi Beach, according to multiple news outlets. Authorities called the attack terrorism targeting Jewish Australians.

Police reportedly shot and killed the older suspect; the injured son is in custody. World leaders have responded to the violence. President Trump called the shooting “an antisemitic attack” and offered condolences, while Prime Minister Anthony Albanese condemned it as “an act of evil” and pledged national unity, The World and Everything in It podcast reported.
