Amid a flurry of executive orders and pardons this week, President Trump issued pardons for pro-life activists on Thursday (Jan. 23). The nearly two dozen protesters were reportedly imprisoned during the Biden administration under the Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances (FACE) Act.
The Daily Wire first broke the news of the possible pardon of protesters on Thursday, the day before the 52nd annual March for Life in Washington D.C. All of this, comes during a week of controversial pardons announced by both President Trump and former President Biden, who officially left office on Monday.
Debate continues to swirl over Trump issuing a pardon earlier this week for 1,500 criminal defendants connected to the Jan. 6 Capitol riot in 2021 and after the Biden administration announced a variety of pardons in the final days and moments of his presidency that included members of his own family.
