Two Southern Baptist churches in Wyoming now have highly visible locations in communities with residents who are predominately from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, the Wyoming Southern Baptist Convention reported.
Berean Bible Fellowship in Afton, Wyoming, which launched in 2014, has recently purchased and renovated, with the help of several work crews, a building on its community’s main street with a hard-to-miss cross reaching into the sky.
Water of Life Church in Cowley, Wyoming, welcomed volunteers this past summer to help construct a new building on the town’s main highway. Water of Life Church is the first evangelical church in Cowley. The site was dedicated more than two years ago, and the church has been raising funds for building materials since that time, Pastor Johannes Slabbert said.
