The North American Mission Board, through GenSend, sent 27 college students, hailing from nine states, to minister and witness in Utah from June 18 to July 30, the Utah-Idaho Southern Baptist Convention reported.
The students were divided into four cohorts working in four large cities in Utah. Each cohort was matched with a church and received local pastoral coaching.
The cohort in Ogden, Utah, befriended and shared the gospel with a cashier at a retail store. The cashier made a profession of faith in Jesus.
