Maryland church opens thrift store as outreach to community

Church of the Harbor, Baltimore, Maryland, launched by Kelly and Jeff Belcher in February 2015, has already planted one additional church, with another on the way.

Through the years the Belchers have knocked on hundreds of thousands of doors to meet neighbors.

The church has opened a thrift store in its fellowship hall and is actively involved in compassion ministry.

“Every community is different, and we’re just trying to reach ours right where they are,” Jeff said.
