Christian Challenge sent out three collegiate ministry teams to assist 16 churches in New Mexico as well as two camp facilities owned by Baptist Convention of New Mexico, reported the Baptist New Mexican.
The teams assisted wherever each church or camp needed it most, ranging from summer camps to local outreach to manual labor.
Sandia Baptist Church’s minister to adults, Andy Donalson, described the team who helped with Vacation Bible School, “They did an amazing job of just reaching out and loving on the kids, breathing life into them and showing them God’s love.”
