Bouse Southern Baptist Church, a small church in western Arizona, gave more than 16 times its goal to the Annie Armstrong Easter Offering for North American Missions.
With a weekly worship attendance of 45, the church set its AAEO goal close to previous years’ collections — $350.
This year, the church agreed to match the total given by members with existing funds.
Members contributed more than $2,850, bringing the total given to AAEO to about $6,000, Portraits reported.
